Born in Switzerland of parents with several nationalities, Dominique inherited both Latin and Germanic temperaments. This “stretch” as well living in many different countries and speaking  multiple languages heightened her sensitivity and her intuition while helping her to develop a taste for trans-cultural communication. Her art expresses a real feel for the universal language of colors.

Her abstract vision and her facination for light, colors and materials is made evident by her need and ability to capture her subject’s essence. Her approach is free and unconventional and allows her to use the photographic "close up" like a contemporary paintbrush.
